James Natai, Founder & Managing Director

James grew up in the foot hills of Kilimanjaro. The region where his family still values their roots and culture. James started Maisha Adventures to share the beauty of his country to the world. He makes sure that the trips are designed and tailored to meet the clients expectations.

 

Huruma Natai, Head Operations & Logistics

Huruma is the operations manager. He makes sure that the clients are prepared and have everything that they need for their journey. He is very organized and detail oriented when it comes to the little things. He was born and raised in the Kilimanjaro region where his family still lives farming many different crops.

 

Halima Mwaitege, Reservations Manager

Halima is our reservations manager. She prepares the team with the itineraries that our clients book. She makes sure that our team is ready and that you’re trip runs smoothly through her communication skills and ability to multi task. She grew up in Arusha and attended tourism college focusing on entertainment and customer relations.

 

Charles Richard, Mountain Guide

Charles has been climbing Kilimanjaro and many other mountains that are in East Africa for a number of years now. He has great intuition when it comes to the outdoors and knows what it takes to get to the top of the mountain.

Benedict Shegesha,(Benny) Safari Guide

Benny has over 10 years of experience being a safari guide in all the national parks that Tanzania has to offer. He was also born into this business following his fathers footsteps. He is very professional and goes above and beyond to make clients happy. 

 
 

Wilson Laiser (Wile), Spanish Safari Guide

Spanish guied. With over 6 years of experience he grew up in Arusha Tanzania studied tourism and spanish language and he has succeed to lead many spanish speaking clients and left them with great african memories!

Stephano Francis ( Jangle ), Chef

Jangle grew up in Mto wa Mbu a small town close to Lake Manyara National Park. He found his passion in cooking school learning how to cook many different dishes western and authentic. After completing school he aimed to share his talent and amazing creativity of cooking to all people around the world. We call him Mr.Magic!
